It looks like we were missing 2 permission scopes in order to update custom deal properties via the API. I was able to add the read and write scopes to the app listing, and got it approved but users still get this error:

Couldn’t complete the connection

Authorization failed because the provided scopes are insufficient. Please contact the app developer.

What am I missing?

Hi Diana,

Thanks but there was no real resolutions on this thread. Is there a way to get support from someone from the Markplace team? This is urgent as we it blocked users from download the app.

Have you tried all the options provided within those threads? Additionally, please note: Authorization failed due to insufficient provided scopes. It’s important to try all the suggested options, as they have resolved similar issues for other users.
