Could you please make any URL field clickable in Contacts and Companies? For example LinkedIn pages

In Companies: LinkedIn Company Page is not clickable

Which is really frustrating as I can’t click on it. I’m forced to click on Company Preview, find LinkedIn Company Page, which only then offers a link arrow. That wastes me 5 seconds each time.

Same in Contacts: LinkedIn Page is not clickable, which forces me to click on Contact Preview

Then go down and then scroll down to find LinkedIn Page and finally get a link there. Again I wasted 5 seconds each time.

Could you please apply a link with arrow when we insert URL into the fields?

In that case, what you can do is create a custom property example “LinkedIn page” with the field type as single-line text then add the LinkedIn pages URL into that property hope that will work for you

No, this does not work either.

I named mine LinkedIn URL (see below).

You can see that none of them are directly clickable with an arrow straight in the box.

Unlike Custom Domains, for example, which is directly clickable (with an arrow).

So my request remains: how to create directly clickable boxes on HubSpot?

@spnc I feel like the LinkedIn URL used to be clickable before the Company/Contact view tables became click to edit.

I would add this as an idea for the product managers to consider, although I feel like it’s a bug…

If you have a paid account, I would reach out to HubSpot Support and report it as a bug to see if that gets it escalated a bit quicker than the ideas forum.
