Following a recent post about my URL page loading a random version of my intended webpage… I have now realised that my intended webpage only displays under the URL with an “en-gb” suffix. https://beckisofttissuetherapy.co.uk/en-gb/
I’ve followed various tips for similar issues already in the community about changing language settings and removing any slugs. I believe my page settings were set to ‘English’, so I’ve now changed this to ‘no language’.
Ive also followed instructions in this guide: https://www.maka-agency.com/frequently-asked-questions/how-can-i-clear-the-server-cache
When I hit update in my website viewer, I now get the following pop up message:
Error
A page already exists at ‘http://beckisofttissuetherapy.co.uk/’. To change the URL, please click on the settings tab.
…obviously this is already the URL in the settings and the URL I want to use… but that URL isn’t loading the webpage I want to use, but this random version of my business name and template with none of my info. www.beckisofttissuetherapy.co.uk
Will it just take some time to make the changes to the language settings I’ve changed or is there something else I need to do? Do I need to change DNS settings and if so how do I do this?
Additionally if someone could give me some advice on how to remove the ‘123 Main Street, City, State 11111’ at the bottom left of my page I would appreciate that… it is visible in the ‘global content’ section of the page editor, but when I select to open and edit in the global content section it is no longer there. I removed it previously, so I dont understand why it is still showing and I’ve no idea how to remove this from my webpage.
