Hi

Is it possible to clone products in the Product Library in to another “price Book”. I currently have 22/23, 23/24 and 24/25 all with the same products but the price is different. So far I have had to retype them all out for each year (laborious).

Or do I have to export them out and back in to the new price book 25/26

Thanks

Hi @JGray30,

While HubSpot doesn’t let you directly clone products between price books in the UI, it is possible to export and re-import them using a CSV, which is much faster than retyping.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Export your current products from the product library.
2. Update the prices and assign the new price book (e.g. 25/26) in the spreadsheet.
3. Import them back into HubSpot as new products.

HubSpot’s guide here walks you through it: [How to use products](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/products/how-do-i-use-products)

Hopefully they add a clone feature for price books in the future - would save a lot of time!

Best,

Jess

Just curious, what is the reason to create a new prodcut each time a price changes? Is it for reporting purposes?

Hi

we have a pricebook with more or less same products, the prices change so I create a new price book for each financial year. These are my line items for my deals
