Copying label from a contact to company to a contact to ticket

Hello I am looking to display the contacts assocaition label for its copmany when they submit a ticket.

Example: Customer 1 is a “Decision Maker” for Company 1 and submits a ticket. Within the ticket I want to see that label. How do I then see they are a decision maker for the company via the ticket view?

The issue is when a ticket is submitted and the label exists but at the company level there is no way to know unless the team drills into each company for every ticket. I can’t create duplicate labels (ie a ‘Decision Maker’ can only be a contact > company or contact > ticket), I also can’t create alternative naming then have a workflow add the label.

Anyone know if I am missing something?

Hi @RRodriguez9,

As far as I know, this is correct and currently expected behavior. Association labels are a fairly new feature and still being developed. I’m sure workflow actions for setting/copying labels will be added in the future but currently that’s not possible.

As always, custom code actions in Operations Hub Professional might be a solution here, requiring that exact license and the help of a developer.

Best regards!
