Copy to Clipboard from CRM Card

Hello,

I am building a CRM Card using HubSpot’s public Apps. As one of the requirements, the client wants to be able to copy a link that is being generated in the CRM card.
Ideally, a “Copy to clipboard” action would be used. So far, I could not find a solution other than opening an iFrame and letting the user copy the link there, but this involves an extra step.

Is there another solution for this?

Based on my read of the documentation, this is not possible.

You are on the right path with using an iframe, as CRM cards do not support custom JavaScript to enable a copy-to-clipboard type of functionality.

Thanks for your feedback! This is on our radar and we are working on it. Currently the iframe will be a good workaround.
