It’s great how the CRM is constantly evolving. So, thanks to the product team for all your work!
There are a few pain points, which really make my life as a sales operations manager much more difficult. My biggest challenge is related to data harmonization across contacts, companies, and deals. To be specific, I’d like to be able to copy information from companies and contacts to deals, but (!) only to specific and not all deals associated with them.
It’s only natural to have multiple opportunities per account (examples: you lost them in the past and they come back OR you talk with enterprise clients and have multiple subsidiaries OR a client churned and now there is the chance to win them back again OR the client started with a smaller team and you’ll have a larger rollout deal later on, etc.)
As a fast-scaling SaaS company, not being able to do this really limits sales efficiency overall, as well as data quality. The problem is especially prominent the larger your ACVs are and the greater your market coverage.
In short, I think it would be really helpful to have the option to either copy data from contacts to deals in deal-based workflows or to be able to copy data via contact-based workflows to specific deals only (specified via conditions).

Huge second! I need to copy value to certain deals (ie open deals) but not have other deals (ie closed deal) be changed.
