Copy data from hubspot into an azure datalake gen2

Hello all

I am struggling to get hubspot connected to azure datalake so that we can copy data into our datalake.

On azure there is a hubspot connector … wow ! I’ve created a private app in hubspot to connect, but when using the connector in azure it demands a refresh token. I don’t find any clue on the internet on getting things done to connect hubspot and datalake, nor get this refreshtoken automatically in the connection tool of Azure datalake. Anyone got any clue ?

Hey, @JVanpachtenbe :waving_hand: Private Apps do not provide refresh tokens. Looking at the documentation here — Data Factory, it looks like you need to create a Public App and get OAuth set up to access refresh tokens. If you are using a different guide, link it here and we’ll take a look.

Hello Jeffrey -

I just came across your post and went through this challenge several months ago - and then again yesterday. We have Azure and I have set up linked services to access content within HS.

If you’re still trying to figure out how to get it connected - then I can help. First off, you will be creating an App - but it *must* be created using a Developer account. I created a tutorial for myself since the steps were so difficult to figure out and I had to reference a huge number of pages and articles.

Please confirm on the Developer account requirement and I can then share add’l details (but Dev account is an absolute must to get an App connected to Azure).

Regards,

Doug

Hello Doug, could you share the tutorial with me? I created a dev app, a HubSpot linked service and a HubSpot dataset but the latter returns some weird SQL-like tables (like Hubspot.Contract_Properties_Values). I don’t know how to proceed now.

Hai ,Doug can you please share the details on linked service between ADF to HubSpot ? Currenlty im in the stage where I’m unable to verify the public app which I have created.

Hi Doug,

I am also looking for the turorial you created.

Thanks,

Peter
