Hi! It would be incredible if HubSpot could contact Instrumental to optimize the integration and copy over custom properties to duplicate deals. We enter a ton of information on our deals, and it’s disheartening when you go to duplicate the deal and have to repeat the process over again. I already reached out to Instrumental, the creator of the Deal Duplicator tool, about this, but I wanted to put it here, too.
Has anyone found a workaround? My only thought is to create a workflow where I can manually enroll deals, but this will cause an error when all deals don’t have the same properties filled out + the workflow tries to copy the fields over. Thanks!

Contacting the app developer is the right way to go here, I wouldn’t expect HubSpot to take action on third-party solutions. Keep up the pressure with Instrumental 
In terms of workarounds, workflows to copy the information are one option, correct. Which issue exactly are you running into? If you want to copy from one deal to another and they are associated, you’d create a deal-based workflow that enrolls deals where the field value is known, then copies the value into associated records.
Sync properties can be another option: Create sync properties that copy data to associated records
Keep also in mind that sometimes it makes sense to store information on the associated company record (especially if it applies to multiple deals) which is when a sync property can really unfold its power and display a company record’s field value on all associated deals.
