Copy a list of values, paste it in Husbpot filters and for Hubspot to recognise it is different valu

At the moment, when we copy a list of values from Excel, and we paste it in one of the filters on Hubspot, Husbpot brings together all the different values and does not recognise that they are different cells.

This is time consuming, but it means that we need to add each value one by one, whereas, what we want is to only see in our view those values that have one of those reference IDs.

Thanks,

Hi folks,

I have some great news. The ability to copy a list of values in HubSpot Filters and have them formatted is now live in the product. You can view this by going to your filter editor value input, clicking on edit, and pasting the values in the input modal. Your values will be automatically formatted.

If you have any custom delimiters, you can format your entry by clicking on “edit” to view the “Edit values” modal. You can easily format and view your values here. This update supports up to 250 values.

Below is a set of operators that this update will work for

  • Is equal to any of
  • Is not equal to any of
  • Contains
  • Doesn’t contain
  • Starts with
  • Ends with
  • Has ever been equal to
  • Has never been equal to
  • Has ever contained
  • Has never contained

Thank you for your feedback! Hope this helps and please feel free to reach out to if any more questions come up!

Hi @MiDesai, I would like to have the same possibility also in dropdown list. In this case it seems that copy and paste different values is not working. The use case is to create a branch in a workflow to assign different actions based on Deal Owners. There are branches where I need to add more than 100 different owners and do it manually it’s really time consuming… Thanks.

Trying to do this with lists of emails (i have over 100 to enter, repeatedly) and although the option of separating used to work with a semicolon. The above option is nowhere to be seen and the prior functionality doesn’t seem to work. Seems to have got worse not better in that regard.

This functionality doesn’t cover my use case. I need to mass delete Emails that were from, to, CCed, or BCCed to a list of email addresses (ones that are now on our Neverlog list, but weren’t originally on that list). However, I cannot make a List of Emails, so I’m using the Emails Index view. In the View filters, I cannot paste a list of values into my “is any of” filter on Email To Address, Email From Address, Email CC Address, or Email BCC Address fields. I even tried the semicolon and " OR " delimiter tricks I found elsewhere in HubSpot forums, and those don’t work either.
