Yes, that’s what we do. We use Cookiebot on every domain and subdomains to ensure that the visitor only has to set their preference once no matter where they land on the site.
They’ll be able to configure what cookies to accept or not and to change this afterwards. And you’ll be able to prove that you’ll comply to GDPR.
