_Hi,_

_I am successfully calling conversations.visitorIdentification and getting back a token to use with_ window.hsConversationsSettings before calling

window.HubSpotConversations.widget.load(); or refresh();

_The chat window loads and conversation works. The user however shows as unknown when logged into Hubspot._

I’m using the node sdk…

await hubspotClient.conversations.visitorIdentification.generateApi.generateToken(payload); where the payload is an object with email, firstName and lastName.

The answer is to set …

window.hsConversationsSettings = {

loadImmediately: false

} before doing anything else.
