As a work-around here… Is there a way to control anything about the sub-report? I am seeing fields that are quite confusing. i.e. “Amount” AND “Amount in Company Currency”, and missing a field or two that are needed to make the report useful.
Begging with all the energy I have to be able to customize the order of fields in the table view in custom reports. In 100% of the reports I create, when I drill down into the chart, I want to see Record ID/Deal Name as the first field in the table. It just makes logical sense that it should be first. However, the default fields appear before record ID, even when it is first in my list of fields. It is incrediby frustrating for my end users, and I am constantly getting requests from my team to change it so deal name is first. When I tell them I’m unable to do so, it causes even more frustration. If I can change the order of how fields appear in single object reports, why can’t I do the same in custom reports?
With the ability to add multiple sources to custom reports, it would be extremely helpful to have greater customization over how fields are organized and displayed. When using multiple sources, there are often unnecessary recordID fields that appear in the unsummarized data view that aren’t needed for the report. Having the ability to hide or remove those fields would create a much cleaner and more focused report.
Additionally, it would be beneficial to have the ability to save column sorting preferences in the unsummarized view. This would save users from having to manually re-sort the report each time it is accessed, creating a more consistent and efficient experience.
Yes, I run a forecast call. I’d actually like to structure the report so the columns tell the story in the order you want to discuss the deal, rather than simply showing the standard HubSpot fields in no specific order.
