Hi everybody,
I’m a new Hubspot user as I’ve just finished my import from the CRM I used before. So sorry if my question seems to be a little stupide for you ![]()
As I’m a recruiter, I’ve 3 types of Contacts :
- Potential candidates,
- Customers (companies recuiting)
- and contacts that can be both potentiel candidates and customers (I recruit for them but they also look at a new job for themself).
With candidates (and also with contacts that are both customers and potentiel candidates), I will use Hubspot for CRM, inbound and automation (like CTA and tracking on my website when they apply for a job), so I guess I need to store their personal email in Hubspot’s Email field.
With contacts that are customers only, I will only use Hubspot as a “normal” CRM (no inbound, no tracking, no automation).
So, in which Hubspot fields would you recommend me to store their email adresses ?
- Candidates only : I guess their personal email should be store in the Email field (so it’s their Primary Email). Am I right ?
- Customers only : I guess their personal email should be store in the Email field too (they only have one Email in Hubspot). Am I right ?
- Contacts that are both potentiel candidates and customer, with one professional email and one personal email : Should I store their personal email as Email Primary, and thier professional one in Email, not Primary ? Or would you recommend me another solution ?
- And how should I do if a candidate becomes a customer too, or if a customer becomes a candidate too (ie when adding a second email, professional or personal one) ?
Also, how do you recommend me to store their profile, like :“active customer”, “active candidate looking for a job”, “potentiel future candidate” … ? I’ve seen the “Persona”, “Lifecycle stage” and “Lead status” fields but I don’t know what are they usefull for … ![]()
Thanks a lot for your help ![]()
