# Contacts gone missing

anyone else find that you’re contacts are missing suddenly? i have no filters on. downloaded the app and checked, same as on the computer. 50+ contacts disappeared.

Hi @BTallan,

Are you a super admin in your portal and the only user? If not, then:

- Your permission might limit which records you are seeing. [HubSpot user permissions guide](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/user-management/hubspot-user-permissions-guide#crm-objects)
- Cobtacts might have been deleted. [Restore&nbsp;deleted&nbsp;records](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/restore-deleted-records)
