Hello
I’ve connected [Tray.io](http://Tray.io) to my account with the following scopes:
Crm.objects.contacts.read
Crm.objects.contacts.write
(among others)
I use Postman to trigger the webhook, and I send the following payload:

{

“properties”: {

“email”: “[example@hubspot.com](mailto:example@hubspot.com)”,

“firstname”: “Jane”,

“lastname”: “Doe”,

“phone”: “(555) 555-5555”,

“company”: “HubSpot”,

“website”: “[hubspot.com](http://hubspot.com)”,

“lifecyclestage”: “marketingqualifiedlead”

}

}

The contact gets created, but all the fields are empty:

What could be the issue here?

Hey @VPeychev what endpoint are you using? Can you see a response body?

Hey @TomM2 ,
I am using [Tray.io](http://Tray.io)’s built-in connector for Hubspot.
Here is an example of a request and response (in this case for a ticket, which is also created with empty fields)
**request:**
{
“ticket\_pipeline\_id”: “0”,
“ticket\_pipeline\_stage”: “1”,
“properties”: {
“hs\_pipeline”: “0”,
“hs\_pipeline\_stage”: “1”,
“subject”: “Ticket subject example”,
“content”: “Description of the issue or request”,
“hs\_ticket\_priority”: “HIGH”,
“hubspot\_owner\_id”: “12345678”,
“source\_type”: “EMAIL”
}
}
**response:**
{
“id”: “15631755939”,
“properties”: {
“createdate”: “2024-10-22T11:48:45.974Z”,
“hs\_helpdesk\_sort\_timestamp”: “2024-10-22T11:48:45.974Z”,
“hs\_last\_message\_from\_visitor”: “false”,
“hs\_lastmodifieddate”: “2024-10-22T11:48:45.974Z”,
“hs\_object\_id”: “15631755939”,
“hs\_object\_source”: “INTEGRATION”,
“hs\_object\_source\_id”: “4215999”,
“hs\_object\_source\_label”: “INTEGRATION”,
“hs\_pipeline”: “0”,
“hs\_pipeline\_stage”: “1”,
“hs\_ticket\_id”: “15631755939”
},
“createdAt”: “2024-10-22T11:48:45.974Z”,
“updatedAt”: “2024-10-22T11:48:45.974Z”,
“archived”: false
}

I found the issue, it was the signature of the payload.
The correct formatting is

{

“properties”: [

{

“name”: “subject”,

“value”: “Static Subject for the Ticket”

},

{

“name”: “content”,

“value”: “This is a static description of the issue.”

}

]

}

Apprently the API accepts anything without complaining, but requires this format to populate the fields.
