# Contact Search API Caching Duration

Does HubSpot cache the results of the following APIs?

If so, how long does it keep the results?

Hey, @deandamasig 👋 Thanks for the great question. Looking here — [Cache data for repeat calls](https://legacydocs.hubspot.com/docs/faq/working-within-the-hubspot-api-rate-limits#:~:text=Cache%20data%20for%20repeat%20calls), caching will need to be handled on your end. Am I missing anything here @JBeatty?

Hey [@Jaycee\_Lewis](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/127074) , we are having a similar issue as @deandamasig , it looks like HubSpot API is caching the calls to **POST** /crm/v3/objects/contacts/search , how long are the results cached?
