How would I re-enroll the contact here? I want every notification from incoming email, SMS, or contact replies (fb&livechat).
Hi there @rhence,
Thank you for posting to the Community! I’d like to tag in some of our Top Contributors to see if they have any ideas on this one – Hi @CHawkins @Bryantworks and @danmoyle do any of you all have any suggestions?
Cassie, Community Manager
Hi @rhence ,
One option you could consider is using a Conversation-based workflow instead of a contact-based one.
For example, you could use Last message received date is known as the enrollment trigger and enable re-enrollment on that property.
You can then narrow it down further by adding additional criteria, such as the Conversation source (Live Chat, Facebook Messenger, etc.), if you only want notifications from specific channels.
This approach also works for replies received through a connected team inbox, since those email replies are tracked as conversations.
I would create a list with this as your criteria and use it for enrollment, then you should be able to use that list for re-enrollment.
Is this the setup you are using?
@rhence , the reason is that this is still a contact-based workflow. HubSpot doesn’t support re-enrollment when the enrollment criteria come from an associated record.
You’ll need to build this as a conversation-based workflow instead, using Last message received date as the enrollment trigger.
We prefer using lists for enrollment so we can update in one place- less room for error than having to enter it at enrollment and again at the branch level. So most of the time, the answer is yes. One thing to note: a list CAN sometimes take a bit longer to run- but that’s usually when it’s a high volume of data to run. If that’s the case you can put a short delay on it.
How to make it conversation based
@rhence create a new workflow and choose Conversation as the workflow object instead of Contact.
Then use Last message received date as the enrollment trigger with re-enrollment enabled.
Thank you!
