Hi,
I have forms setup to redirect to a thank you page on submission. A contact was created and based on the activity (Form page view at 5:25, thank you page view at 5:28 and contact creation at 5:29) I can see this happened through a form submission but they do not show up in the forms submission data and there is no form submission activity in the contact record.
What could cause this?
Hmmm, that is a good one. Are you confident this is a real record and not a bot? I see the record was created from paid search. Bots crawl pages and do not follow any rules while navigating. It’s possible they crawled to this page without submitting a form. With the very little info I have, that would be my first guess. Good luck!
I had the same issue the other day. A contact appeared in Hubspot with source “Direct Traffic” but no form submission was recorded and no notification issued - not from Hubspot and not from the non Hubspot webform itself on WP. The submitter claims she submitted the form. Another peculiarity - the contact had only one field filled out - the name - which carried the email (?) . In my form, first & last name, email and country are required. What could it be?
{because the submitter is working in a high-security IS provider I thought maybe she was browing private - no cookies - but reproducing that didn’t cause the behaviour]. How on on earth did Hubspot receive the email and created thhe contact with no form submitted? Activity shows that the person browsed 9 pages prior to the last (the form page).
