Hi HubSpotter:
I’m wondering which contact properties capture the last email sent date via Outlook. Does anyone have any idea?
When I send an email to a contact via Outlook, which HubSpot property records the date of that email?
I am talking about one to one email not a markeitng email.
Hi @DSaha7,
An Outlook email send would update this property:
Last contacted: the last date and time a chat conversation, call, sales email, meeting, or manually entered LinkedIn message was logged for the contact. This is set automatically by HubSpot based on the latest date of activities in the record. For example, the Last contacted property in the record will show yesterday’s date when a user logs a call that occurred the day before.
Keep in mind however, as per the description, that other activities also update this property. There is no default property that tracks only emails sent via Outlook.
Best regards!
Hi karsten:
Always appreciate your quick responses. However, can you share how I can test this? I received an email from a salesperson, but the ‘Last Contacted’ property is not updated.
@DSaha7 is this email logged to your contact record in HubSpot? If so, could you please share a screenshot of your contact record (with the email) and a screenshot of the last contacted field (empty)?
Yes, The last contacted field is empty.
@DSaha7 is the email you received logged to your contact record? If not, HubSpot would not have anything to update the “Last contacted” form for.
