# connecting a third party email

I am trying to connect my work email to Hubspot. I use a third party to host this email, Siteground. So i have selected “Other mail account” and completed as below:

But I can get no further. Would be very grateful for advice.

Hi @Grlang,

Can you confirm that your email meets the technical requirements for IMAP listed in this [help article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email-notifications/what-are-the-technical-requirements-for-connecting-my-inbox-to-hubspot-with-imap)? Do you see a message when you hover over the greyed-out button at the bottom of the screenshot?

The more information you can include, the better the community can assist with the next steps.
