@Watchdog, yes, I spend a lof of time here, hahaha. I’m surprised by those numbers myself.
And no, HubSpot does not pay me for my activity in the community. (HubFans receive some nice perks though.) I do this because I enjoy working with the platform, solving brain teasers and helping customers on a daily basis.
I understand your point but I wouldn’t look at the community as an extension of the support team or a place for finding workarounds to limitations of the product. (There is always an aspect of that, of course. I’m pretty sure that the community managers watch out for recurring issues and feed that information back to the team working on the knowledge base, for example.)
But besides that, a lot of threads revolve around weighing pros and cons of different approaches or finding smart ways to get the most out of whatever subscription someone is using. I see more and more questions regarding best practices for specific industries and it’s amazing to see that there is always someone who’s figured out a solution to an industry-specific challenge before. Also, participating in the community has become one of the fastest ways to stay up to date with product updates.
Congratulations!!! @karstenkoehler
Absolutely deserved! I’ve utilized many of your solutions in our CRM. Thank you for sharing your experiences and expertise with us.
