Hi, this is Mark, from HubSpot’s PM team. I’m sorry for how long it has taken for HubSpot to respond to this. As some have pointed out many options for creating follow up tasks have started to allow selecting different task types when creating the follow up tasks, however we have not yet added a setting for a configurable default value. This isn’t currently planned, but we appreciate the continued feedback for consideration.
