# Conditional beginning-end date as a property

Hello!

I’m setting up properties for one type of Companies: Festivals.

I have two questions:

1. Basically, I’d like to be able to look up for “Festivals” types of Companies by date in the filters.  
I have already set up the Festivals property, it’s fine. But I’d like to find festivals by periods.  
Say I have Brooklyn Film Festival happening from 2021/11/04 to 2021/12/02.  
In the view for Companies, I’d like to be able to pick “In two months” and see festivals happening during that time period.  
Is it possible to do one property for duration, or should I create two properties: one for beginning, one for ending ?

2. Is it possible to see some property with the condition of another one ?

For “Company type = Festivals” I want the “Submission = YES/NO” property to appear, but I don’t want the Submission property to show up for “Company type = Movie Magazine”.

Hi @TMD25E,

There isn’t a suitable property time for a time frame. You would have to work with two distinct properties here and set your filters accordingly.

Looking into your second question, are you referring to the left company record sidebar? This can be customized in Professional and Enterprise portals. You can [make sections of the sidebar conditional](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/customize-record-sidebars#edit-the-sections-in-the-record-sidebar-professional-and-enterprise-only), based on the value of another property, in your case _Company type_ = “Festivals”. If you’re on the free CRM then this is not possible and there aren’t any workarounds, unfortunately.
