Hi

I have a property with a concatenate formula, the issue is that some contacts are not showing the value of the property itself while some contacts are just fine. Why do you think this happened?

Hi @moree20,

Can you share a screenshot of the formula and a screenshot of the property values of a contact where it’s working and one where it’s not working?

Best regards

I have a theory on why it’s not showing, so my question now is does the concatenate formula only works if all the strings have value? If it reads that in a contact, the property added as a string is missing a value, then the formula wouldn’t work, is that right? Is it like one all or nothing.

@moree20 that’s correct, see this test:

 ![karstenkoehler_0-1717050079715.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/9/2/9253d75e46f42827b1724320492e9f612f6d484a.png)

You could work around then with an IF statement that checks whether all building blocks are known - and then creating a fallback if they aren’t.

</div>

Can you suggest how to use the IF function for that scenario? so we can still get what we are trying to achieve?

@moree20 could you please share your current formula?
