our company has to access properties from a company-object when creating a deal from a form. Is this a thing at all or does Hubspot not provide such a service?

Our goal is to provide some company information, previously provided in a form, in the name, so when creating a Deal through the simple workflow I’d need to get that information from the company object.

Not directly, no, if you’re referring to a contact-based workflow. You would have to create a company-based workflow that copies the company Name into the Company name on the contact record:
You can then reference the contact property.

So this means in our case:
- a coworker fills in a form
- according to that, a company and contact object would get the data applied
- then, as there is no simple company-based workflow, the simple contact-based workflow would create a deal without the company’s information
- define some triggers on a normal company-based workflow, which then copies the company information?
As a note, I was talking about the workflows inside of the forms editor

I was referring to regular workflows, not forms automation.
