Company Name not getting displayed in slack notification via workflow

I have a workflow that sends a text message in slack whenever somebody fills a contact us form, in that multiple data properties are being displayed in the slack message like - Name, Job Title, etc howvever, the company name is not getting displayed

Kindly double check that the company name property from the contact us form is correctly mapped to a field in the Slack notification action.

  • Ensure that the field names match exactly, as any discrepancies can cause issues.

@Humashankar there is no such setting as ‘Internal-use only’ for properties, is there?

The most common issue with company names is that there is both a contact property and a company property for it:

Could you confirm that your Slack notification is referencing the correct one?

The one that comes up in a contact-based workflow slack action dropdown is the contact property (green in the form editor).

If you want to include the company property, you need to:

  1. Click into the ‘Message’
  2. In the sidebar to the right, click on ‘Edit available data’ > ‘Add data source’ > ‘Company’ > ‘By activity’ > ‘Most recently updated’
  3. Add the company name to the message as a personalization token, see screenshot below

This now corresponds to the yellow field from the form editor screenshot above.

If that’s not the issue, could you please share a screenshot of the form editor + the Slack notification workflow action?
