Companies Created by Web Form Auto Capture Form Details on Company Record

As a B2B provider, we work primarily from Companies rather than contacts.

However, when a new lead is created via a webform, the contact is the primary source so a company is created automatically if the domain is known.
this as a process works fine, however, the initial form submission is saved as a note on the contact record and is not also assigned to the company record, resulting in the need to copy and paste the form note into the contact.

Is there a setting anywhere to make sure any form submissions are assigned to the contact AND the company record? If not, can this functionality be added?

Form submissions are not shown on the company record and I am not aware of a straightforward way to do this.
