Hi!
I have seen this opt-in preferences being available to customers but not companies.
I wanted to double check this that we have no way of recording opt-in preferences for Companies?
Thanks,
CDP

Hi @CDP2023
If you are referring to the subscription types and the opt-in to those, these always refer to individual contacts and not companies, as they relate to the right of an individual opt-in and out of marketing communication. You will always send email to individual contacts and not companies, even thouh the individual might belong to a company.
I hope that helps.

Hi @CDP2023,
Adding to @franksteiner79’s great answer, I’m not aware of any privacy- or consent-related legislation being company-based. Any legislation I’m aware of revolves around the individual, GDPR for example, meaning that there must be a legal basis for communication for each person you want to email.
If a new contact joined a company in your CRM that you, hypothetically, had an opt-in documented for, this could not extend to the new person. There would have to be a legal basis for that person, too.
(This reply does not constitute legal advice.)
Best regards!
Hey @CDP2023
You can refer to this knowledge base Set up email subscription types as I can see subscription types can be set up at the contact level, not at the company level as per this article.
