Combine multiple deals into one

We use the Hubspot Starter platform. So no custom objects possible.

I have a project in which I am looking for investors for start-ups. Ideally, I would like to collect all actions related to this project in one deal. I need the status of each investor and have to track discussions with them. Does anyone have any ideas on how best to map this?

Copilot suggests that I manage one deal per investor and link the deals via a property so that I can then track them in a separate deal pipeline. I find this a bit cumbersome. Are there any other ideas, or has anyone else had a similar problem and solved it?

Hi @Maike,

I would treat the pipeline as the search (and stages) of finding investors - and simply set up a custom property to tag deals as belonging to this particular search (if you can’t create a dedicated pipeline for this investor).

That way, you can easily filter for all deals belonging to this investor.

Alternatively, create a company record for the investor and associate all deals with this investor.
