These are records in a Custom Object. I colored the pipeline stages and also several Status properties. However, none of those colors flow into the calendar view. Just grey.
I’m told there’s no way to add color to these records to show they are in a particular pipeline stage or in a particular status. I would like to request a way in the Calendar View Settings the ability to color records by the Stage color or by selecting a Property that using color dots or color blocks.
Oh man, I feel your pain on this one. It’s super frustrating that we put all this effort into color-coding our pipeline stages and status properties, only for the calendar view to completely ignore it and default to plain grey.
Since you’re the one who submitted this idea, definitely keep bumping the thread and getting coworkers or clients to upvote it. That’s really the only lever we have to get HubSpot’s product team to notice and actually build it.
Until they roll something out, the only makeshift workaround I’ve seen people use is adding emoji tags or specific text prefixes to the record names (like [URGENT] or a colored circle emoji) so they at least catch your eye when you’re scanning the month view. It’s definitely not as clean as automatic stage coloring, but it helps a little bit.
