Nope I’d never heard of it before.
I’ve just found a “teams” setting after you mentioned that, but doesn’t seem to give me any particular useful options?
That’s cool. Don’t recommend you play with ‘Teams’ until / unless you solve the current issue first.
Here are some questions to help you narrow the scope of the issue and identify its root cause. These questions presume that “everyone in [your] team has permissions set to maximum visibility” as originally indicated. (very important)
-1- Is your colleague unable to see ALL of your notes on ALL deals? (very important question)
Understand, it will take time to confirm this 100% before troubleshooting further. Be advised, skipping this step will only further delay resolution.
-2- Who is the Deal Owner on the deals where your colleagues visibility is impaired?
-3- Are the ‘invisible’ notes DEAL notes (entered directly on the deal record), or CONTACT notes (entered on the associated contact record) that show in the deal as a result of the contact’s association with the deal?
We just started working through some examples to verify whether he can see my notes on other deals, and very strangely, he can now see my notes on the original deal that was causing the problem!
The link he was originally using was sent to him by the deal owner - is it possible that when he reviews information at that link, he only sees that owner’s notes, but when he reloads to a more general view, he can see everyone’s notes?

Dunno. That’s a scenario we haven’t encountered before.
Actually think it may be more likely that HubSpot hadn’t updated yet &/or your colleague hadn’t refreshed their screen yet. (fairly common)
If it turns out that the ‘link issue’ is not the cause, sounds like this issue mysteriously resolved itself (not uncommon considering the enormity of the platform and frequency of updates).
