Email conversations with customers often involve back-and-forth replies. These replies all contain all of the previous content of the email thread, so that the individual emails get longer and longer, and the email tab of HubSpot gets vastly longer.
This makes visual searching for a particular topic very difficult.
I would welcome a change where only the immediate response in the email is visible by default, with the rest of the email collapsed. Then, a search function that could search only the non-collapsed portion of the emails , including the body of those emails, would be a big win.
As an alternative, I have developed the habit of not replying to emails, but rather creating a new email, with a new subject, and perhaps a copied and pasted section from the email I would have replied to.
Also, this is particularly challenging when a customer has an email footer which gets duplicated with every reply. I have a customer that uses the same poem after his signature. Inspirational, but only the first time I see it.
