[Closed] AMA - Ask Us Anything About Content Hub | May 13 - 17

Hi HubSpot Community,

My name is Anissa. I am a Product Marketing Manager here at HubSpot. At our Spring Spotlight, we introduced our reinvented Content Hub, a one-stop-shop for creating and managing content across the entire customer journey—helping you easily break into new formats and channels to share your story with the world.

Evolving CMS Hub to Content Hub means we’re empowering marketers with content tools that go beyond the CMS tools you know and love. I’m sure you have questions about the newest features, how to create and manage personalized content, and ways to increase engagement.

Our AMA will be open for questions from Monday, May 13 to Friday, May 17. All questions will be answered by Friday, May 17th. Drop your questions regarding HubSpot’s new Content Hub in this thread and we’ll answer them!

Not sure what to ask? Here are a few sample questions:

  1. What is a content marketing solution?
  2. What additional features come with upgrading to Content Hub?
  3. How does Content Hub work with Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Commerce Hub, and Operations Hub?

Look forward to chatting with you in the thread and hearing all of your questions!

As a newbie that I am in content creation what are the things to be done, any chatroom for learning??? Pls I need a response to this

Hi @OTitus,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community! I’ve moved your question to the upcoming Content Hub AMA (Ask Me Anything) where you’ll have the opportunity to ask HubSpotters about content creation in HubSpot and connect with fellow community members.
As a starting point, I would highly recommend taking the Content Marketing Certification Course and joining the Content Marketing Study Group. You will be able to connect with fellow content creation students and experts in the study group while simultaneously upskilling in content marketing with HubSpot Academy.

All the best,

Kristen

Hi OTtus. I am sort of new. My expertise is more in content marketing strategy. But I may be able to guide you on the basics that I have learned since being with the community for almost two years. What is your subscription level?

Thanks for the AMA @ajacks228, super excited for the new Content Hub!

Are there any cool examples or case studies showing the new tools like Content Remix or Brand Voice? Any plans for a showcase (like maybe adding more content types to inspire.hubspot.com)?

Thank you for joining us for the AMA and for your excitement about Content Hub, @Jnix284 ! While we don’t have specific case studies to share at the moment for Content Remix or Brand Voice, we are working on showcasing the capabilities of these tools on platforms like the Community. Stay tuned for updates and more examples as we continue to highlight the functionalities and benefits of these new features!

Thank you @ajacks228 looking forward to seeing (and sharing) examples in the community!

Hey @Jnix284! My name is Blake and I’m the Product Manager behind Content Remix. I’ve been out of office this week, but now that I’m back, I wanted to add on to what Anissa mentioned about Remix.

While we don’t have documented case studies (yet… if you’d like to participate in making one, let me know!), I can share some of the ways customers have been successfully using Remix based on what they’ve told me in interviews.

  • Cutting drafting time in half for new campaigns. One of our customers described her process for creating in-depth thought leadership pieces for their agency’s blog. Once she has these blog posts ready, her process has historically been to then manually draft 2-3 marketing emails to their lists based on the article’s content and post to LinkedIn about the content. She now starts a Remix from the thought leadership piece and defines the objective for each of her marketing emails and LinkedIn posts so that she can generate the first drafts of those assets faster, freeing her to focus on editing and fine-tuning the value proposition of each rather than starting from a blank screen. In her words, it has helped her move faster by avoiding writer’s block and cutting her campaign time in half.
  • Drafting assets for regional franchises. Another customer explained that his business has been using Remix to make it easier for sales reps and regional branches of their franchise to reuse content. They have a centralized marketing team that usually frontloads the content asset creation for their blog, whitepapers, and similar. Now, they Remix those centralized assets to better fit individual branch needs, making it easier for their regional marketing teams to empower sales reps to distribute marketing collateral to their customers.

@breichenbach thank you so much for this additional insight! I’ll definitely check with the team on partnering on a case study.

Using remix for regional franchises is genuis! We’re working with a client now that has 5 BUs (parent + 4 franchises) and each franchise has multiple locations - content remix would be a huge opportunity to explore with them!

Do you have to upgrade to Professional level to use Content Hub? If not, what are the benefits offered at the Starter Level?

Our starter tier offers personalization tokens, allowing your business to customize a website page for known visitors, URL redirects, AI content assistant, and an AI image generator.

In addition, you can learn more about what’s offered in Content Hub Starter vs. Content Hub Professional by visiting our Pricing page.

What upgrade / crossgrade path is there for existing Marketing Hub Pro and CMS Hub Pro Customers to the new Marketing+ bundle?

Hi @FrankWL ! Marketing Hub users can upgrade to Marketing+ Pro for an additional $100 and you can also get Marketing+ Enterprise for a discounted plan as well. CMS users can upgrade to Content Hub Pro for an additional $100 and it’s $300 extra for Content Hub Enterprise.

Hi! This is a question I’ve had for some time. Once the blogs are published, is there a way to download them in bulk, in PDF format (how you actually see the published blog)?

Hi @mguttelewitz - we don’t currently support bulk exporting blog posts in a PDF format. However, you can export your blog posts in a CSV, XLS, XLSX, or HTML format.

This KB article has more information on exporting blog posts:

Hope this helps!

Thanks! Is there a way to vote or ask for this feature? Sometimes our clients ask for this and it would save us so much time.

Happy to help! I did a quick search here, and it doesn’t look like this has been submitted as an idea yet. You can start a new HubSpot Ideas post, which will then also let others upvote the idea.

Could you she some light as to what spurred the creation of Content Embed and what would be some best practices for using it?

I looked through the highlights on the Content Embed intro page and the only thing that stood out as something that can’t easily be done in WordPress is Smart Content.

It’s a cool feature, just would like to know mroe about the use cases and why not simply rebuild on HubSpot when a portal is already created :slightly_smiling_face:

Not to mention, if these contetnt embeds are true embeds via iframe, the egregiously bad impact on Web Performance and accessibility. Just one more thing for devs to inform clients not to use /sigh
