Cloning a Deal

has this been done yet, I need to clone deals into a new pipeline without losing the original.

thanks

What is the status on this matter? Clone / copy deals has been a missing feature for quite a while now.

Thanks!

Dagfinn

Did you do it…? I want to duplicate a deal.

Also you can duplicate automatically if you configure the deal duplicator for hubspot: Deal Duplicator for HubSpot | Instrumental Group

Awesome. Worked like a charm. The automation element to it blew our minds and saved tons of time.

Glad it worked for you.

It’s unbelievable that this isn’t a core feature. Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc all have this. Why wouldn’t HubSpot CRM??

Apparently, they do but they make you pay to add this on! Unbelievable

Our users do workshops with the same companies every single year. We have them on a pipeline which works just great. But if we could add the option to clone a deal, I believe that would be a huge time saver for our users.

Hey @AKoury! We have any app, Clone Attack, that allows you to clone deals and choose what information (associated objects, notes/files, line items, etc.) you want to clone over. It also has a workflow action so you can automate this process. PLUS a native feature to increment deal dates dynamically (add 1 year, 6 months, 2 weeks, etc.).

I agree @AKoury was literally discussing this with support yesterday.

They sent me a link to a simular thread which I upvoted, so might be worth heading over to that too and upvoting. and counter linking your idea to that one, so thos people can upvote this thread on the Ideas page.

hi @AKoury , I’ve devised a simple workaround to clone deals in HubSpot, utilizing just two short workflows. Discover the step-by-step instructions here.

This is a must to save time

Hi. It would be great if we can clone existing deals and support tickets. Currently there are other capabilities (merge, delete, etc.) but it would be super beneficial to clone a deal or ticket. This would increase speed to use within the application because often times we are creating multiple deals or tickets which have the same required fields and it takes FOREVER to fill them from scratch each time. Thank you!

Hey @Courtneyymn , submissions for cloning a ticket and cloning a deal already exist, so rather than creating a new submission, how about you add your upvote to the below submissions. Hopefully Hubspot will listen to us all soon

Tickets - https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Clone-tickets/idi-p/372777

Deals - https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Deal-Cloning/idi-p/339496

Hey Courtneyymn! I know this thread is a bit old but we have an app called Clone Attack that would be perfect for you! It allows you to duplicate deals and tickets with just a few clicks. It also lets you choose what fields you want carried over to the duplicate. Check it out here.
If you need help installing or getting set up, let me know! I’d be happy to hop on a call with you.

Hi community! @Courtneyymn There is a solution - CloneNer app that you can find at HubSpot marketplacr and install easily. This app allows you to effortlessly clone various HubSpot objects, regardless of the complexity, including Tickets, Contacts, Companies and Deals. You can try it for free.

I am not sure why this is marked as resolved, all the Proposed solutions required workarounds using workflows, and or using third party solutions to enable this functionality, where it is a basic tools to be able to duplicate deals. This can be for re-curring orders, orders of similar types etc and this should extend to line items as well.

I need my sales team to be able to copy deals quickly, and without going into areas of Hubspot that are not relevant to them. It is not the role of my sales team to do this, nor should I have time in our sales operations . enablement to have to do this amount of work everytime to copy a deal.

Hi @ALucas0,

Thank you for the feedback and for explaining your use case.

I would encourage you to upvote this related idea in the Ideas Forum and comment why this feature would be useful for your team.

Our product team, who monitors the forum regularly, can read your specific use case and understand why this would be a useful functionality or change. It also helps other customers facing the same issue to advocate for its implementation on your behalf by upvoting on the thread as well.

Thank you,

Kristen

We are waiting for this functionality too. It is frustrating to rely on third party solutions for something that basic.
