We need DEAL CLONING. Deal cloning speaks to enterprise solutions & Hubspot says they want to focus on that. Please get it done.
I’m surprise that a basic ‘duplicate’ or ‘clone’ button isn’t available for the Sales Team when creating 3 or 4 deals that are almost the same. In our case the Sales Team create 3 or 4 deals with the same company and aren’t happy on populating 15 fields all over again and again.
HubSpot support suggested using a 3rd party widget (revLABS) that adds a ‘Duplicate Deal’ button but when I click on it made buy a subscription to get this working accross our organisation and because is a 3rd party software, HubSpot won’t provide any additional support on it.
I’m surprise this isn’t a priority item for the Dev Team. This is just basic functionality for Sales Hub. We moved from Salesforce to HubSpot and the Sales Team are screaming to see the ‘clone’ or ‘duplicate’ opportunity/deal button we used to have in Salesforce. It’s difficult to explain to my Management Team why there isn’t a duplicate option available on HubSpot. Keen to hear any feedback from the HS Team on why this hasn’t been put on the roadmap yet so I can share this internally.
I have a client who creates a number of similar deals for various clients and it would save them a lot of time if they can just clone a deal, including the associated products. Along those lines, being able to clone quotes would be helpful as well.
Voting for this as well.
We’ve been using Hubspot CRM for about 5 years now. WHEN WILL HUBSPOT HAVE THE BASIC CRM CAPABILITY OF CLONING A DEAL?? No idea why this is not part of the basic functionality.

As of now, it is not possible to clone deals, but there’s already an idea in our ideas forum (https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Cloning-a-Deal/idi-p/28845).

I agree this is really important and shouldnt require an outside app to do it.
The functionality would be to clone a deal and keep th exitsing contacts and company connected. Then just have the option to update start dates and any other property that needs updating. Thank you!

$19/month seems a little high for this functionality. This is something that I agree with on the original poster about that it should come as a basic button function, as it did in 2 other CRM’s I’ve used. I’d be open to this if it were free for 1 clone button, but costs for additional cloning buttons. Just an opinion.

$19 or $29 a month to duplicate deals, a feature that should be free, is ridiculous. But thanks for the suggestion.
Seriously all these replies about a 3rd party app. Kudos to you all for creating the app that bridges the functionality app, but this thread shouldn’t be a sales pitch. This is really unimpressive in terms of base funtionality within the CRM.
This cannot be upvoted enough. Why isn’t this a native feature without having to pay extra???
It’s totally not making sense at all that deal duplication is not a basic feature in hubspot. Already developed 3rd party deal cloning apps are clear reason that users need that feature, and surprisinly it’s not free in hubspot even other CRMs are supporting it as basic feature. It’s really ridiculous.
How is this not a basic function? How much more feedback do you need before this is implemented? Very frustrating to say the least and all the more reason to move to Salesforce or another CRM.
THIS BASIC FUNCTIONALITY NEEDS TO BE ADDED. WE HAVE A LOT OF REOCCURRING RENEWALS AND WASTE A LOT OF TIME WITHOUT THIS FUNCTIONALITY.
