Thank your for the contiuned discusssion on this thread. We are tracking each and every single feedback to help shape the future iterations of record cloning. So far, we have heard about a few key recurring themes.
- The need to “split deals” by allowing pipeline stage to be change at clone time (and the correct properties cloned depending on the stage)
- The need for a workflow action to automate the clone action
- The need to copy all propreties (and exclude some properties as an admin configuration)
- The need to copy all associations & activities beyond what’s been configured in the record creation
- Auto associating source & cloned record.
I’m happy to share that we have made the decision to prioritize 1 today so you can expect an upgrade within this release.
