Hey @Huntscape-Ops,
Thanks for posting in the Community!
I’m reading through the following knowledge base article on setting up the HubSpot Connector for Claude:

> **[Set up and use the HubSpot connector for Claude](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/integrations/set-up-and-use-the-hubspot-connector-for-claude)**
>
> Learn how to set up and use the HubSpot connector for Claude to integrate CRM data for customized AI insights and actions, helping marketing, sales, support, and customer success.

You’ll note the following [here](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/integrations/set-up-and-use-the-hubspot-connector-for-claude#:~:text=I%27m%20a%20HubSpot,to%20the%20other.):
“You can only connect one HubSpot account at a time to a single Claude account. To work with a different HubSpot account, you’ll need to disconnect the current one and reconnect the desired account within Claude. While you can’t manage multiple connections simultaneously, you can manually switch between accounts by disconnecting one and connecting to the other.”
I hope this helps!

As far as I know, HubSpot doesn’t have a native concept of “Claude accounts” being linked to a portal directly — that integration usually happens through an API or an external connector layer, not as a user-level binding.

So technically, yes, multiple AI/service accounts _could_ interact with a single HubSpot portal if:

- they’re using separate API keys or private apps
- permissions are correctly scoped
- and rate limits are respected

But from a governance and safety perspective, it’s generally not recommended unless there’s a clear orchestration layer in place, because it can quickly lead to:

- duplicate actions (e.g., duplicate tickets, contacts, workflows)
- audit/traceability issues (hard to track which agent did what)
- permission conflicts across teams or automations

In most real setups, teams instead use:

- one centralized integration layer
- or a single “service account” with controlled routing logic

So while it’s possible at a technical level, it’s usually better to design around one controlled integration point rather than multiple independent AI accounts hitting the same portal.
