I’ve got a lead re-engagement workflow and all it says is if a contact is a lead and if last contact is greater than 30 days, create a new task to re-engage/follow up.

I’d like to add one more condition to this which would be a way to check and see if that contact already has an outstanding task before creating a new one. This happens as I will manually create a follow up after a call/email/meeting but the workflow doesn’t know this so I’ll end up with multiple tasks getting created for same contact.

Any tips/help here?

Hi @JKalfayan,

To accomplish this, you’d create an active list, filtering for contacts who have an activity associated with them that is a task. You can then **exclude** this list from your enrollment triggers (“Contact is not a member of…”).

You could of course further specifiy this by task title, task priority, task type etc. Just keep in mind that a contact will enter this list if at least one task meets these criteria.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
