# Chatbot Notifications not working

No one on our team is receiving notifications when a chat is started on our website. It appears that our settings within Hubspot are correct, but nothing pulls through to email, or mobile. We’ve even tried to add slack for notifications and had no luck.

Any ideas?

Are you referring to live chat notifications or chatbot notifications?

If you are referring to chatbot notifications, I wanted to refer you to this post where [@Ian\_Matt](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/12622) explains some workarounds for chatbot notifications since these notifications do not currently exist in the notifications menu.

If your team is not receiving system emails, such as live chat notifications, I wanted to refer you to this [knowledge base article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email/not-receiving-hubspot-system-or-notification-emails) with troubleshooting steps.
