I’m sure many teams, like my own, are multi-tasking within other tabs of their browser while also on alert for Hubspot chats to come in. Currently, Hubspot won’t notify you of a chat unless you’re actively in Hubspot. This has caused my team to miss new chats. It would be great to have the notification sound if Hubspot is opened and no matter what else you’re doing- even if you’re computer is asleep.

Web browsers sometimes limit the ability to play sound when a tab has been inactive for a long period of time. You can consider enabling browser pop-ups by navigating to Settings > Notifications > Desktop (screenshot 1) or even notifications in Slack or Microsoft Teams (screenshot 2). That way you can make sure you team is nudged even if they’re not focused on the HubSpot browser’s tab.
