We used to use a product called Live chat, and once a chat was initiated, it couldn’t be missed by the assigned agent, as it popped up (persistently) in the corner of the screen. It would be great to have an option to make chat windows pop up and stay up for agents, so our team (in the days of 2 or 3 monitors!) don’t miss them come in. Quite a few are being missed at the moment.
Hello @GFMirMon ,
In HubSpot chatflow there is a setting available to pop the chatbox so in that you have to select the option “Show the welcome message then pop open the chat widget when trigger is met” and then we have 3 options for trigger-
- On Exit intent
- Time on page in seconds
- Percentage of the page scrolled
I suggest you to try this once hope this will help you in your objective.
Thank you
Shubham Nigam
Ah, what you’re suggesting is how to display the chat for visitors - I was meaning having that exact same effect - but for the chat *agent* in the back end - so the chat agent wouldn’t miss the incoming chat request. So this doesn’t work.
Okay, if you are asking for internal trigger when someone on your webpage and you are observing the visitor and from hubspot you want to popup chat window with your message, like in this thread one is asking if you are asking same thing then I am sorry I don’t think this possible in hubspot.
Earlier days I used a live chat tool named as Zopim where this option was there it shows you on which page visitor is currenty then accordingly I used to trigger a message from live chat backend and in his side live chat window pop -up and show my message so yes I am with you that was very helpful but I don’t think that’s possible currently in HubSpot chatbox.
This is the same thing I was just asking for and think it would really be a valuable took for Hubspot to offer. To me this is customer service at the next level, we don’t want to miss any chats coming in. We use round robin and have the notifications all on. But like any other companies, we have about 10-15 different tabs & sessions open on our multi monitors, all day long. If the chat could surface on top of everything else we would not be missing an incoming chat. Please consider this option.
