# Changing Email

Hello,

I’m currently trying to change my email from my personal to professional and having a seriously difficult time doing so.. does anyone know how I go about that? I used the ai helper and none of the things it was suggesting worked. I have the free version of hubspot.

Are you referring to your user’s email address? If so, you can find step by step instructions here: [Change your HubSpot user's email address](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account-management/how-do-i-change-the-email-address-of-a-user)

If you get stuck, please share at which step exactly, ideally with a screenshot of the error / issue.
