Hi

I use webhooks to keep the internal CRM updated.
I’m receiving “ChangeSource”: “INTEGRATION” in the payloads.
Is there any way to know which Integration, among the active ones, caused the change?

Thanks

stefano

Hi, @bugfree 👋 Thanks for reaching out. This know;ledge base article is the best source of truth, and it doesn’t include the subtlety you are looking for — [HubSpot’s change sources in property history](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/hubspots-change-sources-in-property-history).

Hey, [@Mike\_Eastwood](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/9259) @LMeert, do you have any additional thoughts here?

Thank you very much! — Jaycee

Hi [@Jaycee\_Lewis](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/127074), @bugfree,

I do not think the knowledge base article is indeed the best source of truth.
If you need to know the source of truth, and you can set up your integrations this way, you could set up a “last modified by” field on each object you need to keep track of and make each integration change this value whenever it makes any change to a record.
This way when you get the payload, you’ll just have to query the record with the [search the CRM API](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api-reference/latest/crm/search-the-crm) and ask for this “last updated by” field to collect your source.
Hope this helps !
If it does, please consider marking this answer as a solution 🙂

Best,

Ludwig
