Earlier I had DNS pointed to Hubspot and had several pages set up at my domain. (SkillSprints.co).
I have now disconnected my domain from Hubspot and took down the pages. I don’t want to use Hubspot. It’s been almost a week so DNS has propegated and is pointing to the new server.
My engineer thinks that because my new provider uses Cloudflare, and, so does Hubspot, that they need to release the redirect in Cloudflare.
I can’t get to technical support as I am not a paying Hubspot customer. Please prevent me from going ballistic and provide a resource within Hubspot that can assist.
If it is a cloudflare issue you could try reaching out to them directly if you are a customer of theirs.
But something I am noticing is that your www subdomain is resolving to your host via a CName record, but I believe your A record for the non-www may still be pointing at Hubspot and it doesn’t seem like your non-www is setup to redirect to the www. I would have your engineer look into that A record.
1) I am not a Cloudflare customer-- But Hubspot is. I have no way to reach
out to them. And, this is Hubspot’s responsibility.
2) My A record is correctly pointed according to my engineer and Vimeo, the
new host of my website. The www subdomain is resolving correctly to the
Vimeo site. Vimeo also uses Cloudflare. Hubspot has not released the
record within Cloudflare, which is why my DNS is resolving to Hubspot
instead of my current provider.
The fact that I can’t get anyone in technical support to address this at
Hubspot is maddening and preventing me from completing my provider change.
Thanks for the response.
