At this time it is not possible to change, rename, or remove HubSpot’s built‑in action buttons such as Clone, Download, Share, Edit, or Delete on quote records. Those core buttons and their placement are part of the standard HubSpot UI and cannot be customized.
We build a customized app to create deals and quotes and when we then enter HubSpot objects Deal or Quotes it will say “Clone” or “Edit” but it doesn’t go to clone or edit via our app “calculation rules” so it will create a totally wrong new quote with wrong prices on line items, etc.
We don’t have to be able to link “Clone” or “Edit quote” to our app, we would simply like to remove the built in action buttons to avoid confusion with our sales agents.
