Change contact owner when using Round Robin Meeting

We are using the Round Robin Meeting tool.
We need to assign as the contact owner, the user that the contact ends up having the meeting with, not the owner of the Round Robin calendar.
I understand this is not possible in Hubspot. So we are trying to build an automatization. But cannot figure how to get the id or name of the user the contact is going to have the meeting with. Does anyone have any suggestion?
Thanks a lot.

Hi @MArango7 ,
It can be done by making use of the workflow filter “assign activity to” under activity assignment and in the next action set the property value to contact the owner.
Please go through this thread also, it will be helpful.

Hope it helps!
Thank you.

Thank you so much @deepikaverma ! I took me a while to understand the flow but it worked.
I was thrown off by the fact that I have to manually set the names of the users that are in the round robin. But it worked after all. Many thanks!

Thank you so much @MArango7 for this lovely response.

This is an old question - but using “Activity Assigned To” doesn’t always work - especially if other activities are scheduled. I’ve found a beter option, though available in workflows only.

  • Workflow Trigger or If/Then Function > Activity Properties > Meeting Description > Contains Any Of: [Meeting Organizer Name]

When a meeting is set, the meeting description contains the name of the person scheduled on the meeting in two places:

  • Under “Organized By”
  • And if you’re using Zoom, under the link text. Example: “[Meeting Organizer Name] is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom Meeting”

Hi @andrewzistler.,

Thanks for sharing!

Best,
