Change buyer name or address just on Quote

Hey guys,

Idea: Allow for changing buyer information only upon quote creation without altering company records (provide an option to manually edit buyer data for the customer).

It would be necessary if we could change the Buyer Company name and address on a Quote based on the customer’s request. We have a system in place for company record names and addresses and urgently need an option to customize this on each quote if needed.

As HubSpot has this option on Invoices, please let us know why on Quotes this is not available. Changing buyer info back on company records after creating a quote is not a good solution.

This is an important feature to have because we have many division under a parent company and sometimes they want the specific divison’s name on the quote included. We cannot update the parent company name every time we create a quote so it is important to have the option to edit this at the quote level.
