Hi,

I have a dropdown select property value with the values: Yes/No.

I have another Date property in a future date.

When the date is reached (someday - no user engage with the record) - I want a workflow to change the property value to “No”.

Now, we have the professiona hub, and we don’t have the schedule to check the condition everyday. Can this be achieved with our current license? or by an application that I can install?:

Thanks!

Hi @OBetzalel,

This feels like something that could be solved differently and better - can you explain what you’re trying to accomplish by doing this?

In any case, creating a workflow could look like this:

- Enrollment: [date property] is more than 0 days ago
- Actions: Set property value to “Yes”

Best regards

@karstenkoehler Hi 😀,

Basically we are using here 2 objects - Company and the related deals.

We have a rollup field that rollups a \*rollup\* field on the deal level that sums the “Total ARR” with custom logic.

For each deal we have a field with ‘expiration date’ - when its due - we don’t want the rollup on the company level to sum from that deal. only deals where Expiration Date \> Today’s Date.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

@OBetzalel “Expiration date is more than 0 days ago” should work. That would enroll deals where the expiration date is in the past.

@karstenkoehler Okay thanks - last questions:

**1.** I set “Inactive date” is more than 0 days ago (Past date) - So after the April 25th, a checkbox field will be changed to “No” - Means it doesn’t meet the condition of the rollup to sum the amount.

But one thing - the workflow doesn’t work for **Manual** changes, it will work when I will check the record in 2 days? (26th?)

 ![OBetzalel_2-1713965158075.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/f/4/f461211d324a71e4dc17c0ef1e9827b2382640c1.png)

Currently the property condition is sets to “Yes” (future date - 25th):

2. So If i have a record with a future date, I should set this condition: ’ “Inactive Date” is **less** than 0 days ago ’ - Will it work to set the condition to “Yes” since it’s a **future** date? - That’s how we check if a date is in the future? no matter how much days there is until we reach that date?
(by the way, what could mean if i change it to is less than 1 days ago or 2 days ago?)

Thanks my friend! 😀

@OBetzalel you lost me here, I think I don’t have all of the context I need to answer this.

“the workflow doesn’t work for **Manual** changes” - it should, why wouldn’t it?

“So If i have a record with a future date, I should set this condition” - which behavior exactly do you want to achieve? Can you give an example?

@karstenkoehler Okay I will try to simplify my question - For the example - Today we are on April 24th.

1. To check if “Inactive Date” (Expiration Date) is in the **past** I apply the criteria:
“Inactive Date is more than 0 days ago”.

**Example** : If ‘Inactive Date’ is on April 20th it should be changed to “No” since it’s in the past.

2. To check if “Inactive Date” (Expiration Date) is in the **future** I apply the criteria:
“Inactive Date is less than 0 days ago”.

**Example** : If ‘Inactive Date’ is on April 25th it should be changed to “Yes” since it’s in the future.

Thanks!

@OBetzalel

1. Correct

2. No, this would have to be changed to “is more than 0 days from now” 🙂
