Our team is currently reviewing the ability to CC (or include multiple contacts in the “To” field when enrolling contacts into a sequence.
In review, we access the problem and potential ways a solution would work in HubSpot, both in terms of user experience, and technical feasibility. If anyone would like to be more involved in our discovery reaseach and/or beta testing. You can fill out this form: https://forms.gle/JLh6BEhe2ygd7FJp7
I will update the status of this idea post as we learn more!
if someone else responds to an email sent through a sequence, and CCs the original person - it doesn’t appear under that original contact feed.
That original person is still enrolled in a sequence.
It would be great if this was automated so that we won’t have to reply from an inbox using the BBC, for it to appear it HubSpot, and then automated so that the original person actually gets unenrolled from a sequence, and so that it shows in their activity feed the response by someone else they forwarded the email to.
There are two use cases here.
1. There are multiple main contacts for a company, so I want to send the sequence to all of them, and if any one of them replies, I want the sequence to end.
2. My coworker wants to be bcc’d on sequences where users are invited to book a meeting with her. It would help her and I keep track of meetings that are booked through sequences and she wants to be able to get the emails. The solution would be to allow me to bcc her to individual email sequences, or subscribe here to the Sequence anytime it is sent out in the sequence settings
UPVOTE!!! We may leave due to this feature as it will not work with all of the sequences we just created. Crazy this has been going on for over 4 years as it is a feature that should be available for all types of users.
Had a bunch of HubSpot users request this feature. They need to loop in other team members on these emails in case the contact does reply, it needs to go to them as well.
